60Enemy AI is practically non-existent, but combined with the mostly straightforward level designs, it all plays reasonably well and slips by painlessly. [Sept 2004, p.26]
-
58Malice is, from top to bottom, about as standard and, unfortunately, boring a platformer as you can find. None of it is bad, but sadly, nothing about Malice is fun, interesting, exciting, new, or worth your thirty bucks.
-
Malices shunning of virtually anything complicated leaves a game that will allow easy access for non-gamers looking for something thats easy going, artistically charming and amusing in a smutty, simplistic way and at half the price of a regular release, is probably as low risk as it gets.
-
This is an average platformer. Everything from the double jump and the by-the-book boss fights to the pickups and the 'special moves' feel...well...overused.
