  1. Enemy AI is practically non-existent, but combined with the mostly straightforward level designs, it all plays reasonably well and slips by painlessly. [Sept 2004, p.26]

Malice is, from top to bottom, about as standard and, unfortunately, boring a platformer as you can find. None of it is bad, but sadly, nothing about Malice is fun, interesting, exciting, new, or worth your thirty bucks.
  3. Malice’s shunning of virtually anything complicated leaves a game that will allow easy access for non-gamers looking for something that’s easy going, artistically charming and amusing in a smutty, simplistic way – and at half the price of a regular release, is probably as low risk as it gets.
  4. This is an average platformer. Everything from the double jump and the by-the-book boss fights to the pickups and the 'special moves' feel...well...overused.

The parts of this game that work are way to easy. Can't say anything about the end of the game though as the game always freezes while loading the level called "the head eater". Its not a disc read problem, the ps2 just freezes. It seems to have issues with slim ps2's (others have also reported this). Don't waste your money on this one. Its a turd. Expand
