    Despite a variety of shortcomings, MetropolisMania 2 is a fun and oddly addictive city sim that walks the fine line between being eccentric and outright bizarre.

    While Metropolismania 2 tries to blend elements from Animal Crossing and Sim City, it is poorly executed. The game feels like a chore, gets repetitive and frustrating, and won't maintain your interest for long.

    Metropolismania 2 is an often-charming and well put-together simulation, but the severe lack of depth, virtually non-existent technical appeal, exaggerated simplicity of the building process, and generally boring (and even tediously repetitive) structure kills any chance the game may have had.
