  1. This year, NBA Live falls just short of continuing its dynasty as the best basketball game around. [Nov 2006, p.73]
  2. The deep Dynasty mode is the only feature worth the price of admission. The day-to-day tasks are organized better than NBA 2K7’s Association mode, and new features like the NBA rumors and managing assistants give sports fans a greater sense of control.
  3. A slick and entertaining basketball sim, but then again so was last year's. [Dec 2006, p.100]
  4. A solid game of basketball, but not one worth your money if you have Live 06.
  5. While NBA Live 07 is a generally decent sports game with near-average replayability, it doesn’t “capture” anything. You’ll be amused but not engrossed. It’s an update to last year’s game, not a sequel.
  6. A severe disappointment to fans of the genre. While EA has added many of the features that were missing from last year’s offering, there are still too many issues that need to be ironed out, including the animations, the flow, the online gameplay, and the challenge.
  7. The heavier focus on animations makes the controls feel sticky - press for a pass, a rebound or a block and it might not happen. [Nov 2006, p.103]

Eh....not so great for casual users, but only great for die-hards. Otherwise, you might as well rent 2k7 or go to a best buy and observe.

Absolutely terrible. Choppy and buggy. NBA 2K7 owns it in pretty much every way.

EA has done it again, a newer version of a game is released and nothing has been improved, they tried but no. In fact everything has gone EA has done it again, a newer version of a game is released and nothing has been improved, they tried but no. In fact everything has gone downhill NBA Live 2004 was a lot better than 07, heck basketball games from 10 years ago were better. With all this glitching and bugs going on, I could have coded a better working game. Expand
