  1. The PS2's first college hoop game doesen't blow the roof off the arena.
  2. With friends and the AI removed from the equation, it shines bright as an arcadey college hoops game for the fans; as a single-player recreation of the road to Final Four tournament, it lacks refinement and long-term replayability.

The graphics reside on the bottom side of ordinary, Quinn Buckner's commentary soon grows repetitive and there just aren't enough bells and whistles to impress us. Add that to the occasionally frustrating gameplay and spotty AI, and you have a team built for boring, sub-.500 play.
  4. Final Four does contain a few innovations, but it comes up short in every way possible.
  5. 50
The X button rebounds the ball and also is the shoot button on offense. In the heat of a game, you often throw up shots by accident.
  6. 50
The game suffers from way too many AI and gameplay problems to be something that we could recommend, though, and the lack of key features that have become a staple in sports games, like a Dynasty mode, really hurts its overall value and appeal.
