  • Summary: Based on the popular comic and anime series, One Piece: Grand Adventure delivers battles that take place with a new free-moving Vs. Battle action system that will offer hours of entertainment. The game has also been completely revamped with the inclusion of an Adventure Mode, sending players on various mini-game filled quests as well as allowing players to create their very own band of roving pirates. 1. The variety of modes, the insane amount of unlockables and the sheer element of fun makes Grand Adventure a game not to be missed.
  2. 80
Fans of Eiichiro Oda's comical pirate epic will certainly get the most out of the game, but if you like chaotic action and bizarre characters, just about anyone can enjoy it.
  3. It includes an incredible amount of fighters from the series, and with all of the unlockables and story modes to complete, the replay value simply shoots through the roof.
  4. Those who already own Battle won't be motivated to drive to the store just to drop $40 on a couple of additional features.
  5. For a game that is rated TEEN, the latest One Piece doesn’t provide the flare that a teen’s attention requires, unless you’re a rabid fan of the television series.
  6. One Piece Grand Adventure feels like a beefier version of One Piece Grand Battle, but it's still not a very compelling brawler.
  7. 40
Perhaps the most puzzling element of Grand Adventure is the lack of a four-player mode, which is an essential ingredient for the fast-paced, item collecting, button-mashing style of fighting game.

One Piece: Grand Adventure is your basic Anime fighting game that doesn't do anything new, the graphics are good they have a good Anime effect, the sound is good, the controls are good also, the story mode is what you would expect a brawler with a few mini games thrown in, and it has some ok multiplayer, the game falls short do to the fact that it doesn't have that many characters, the mini games don't really work, and it gets boring after a while, the lack of good things to unlock is sad all you can unlock is trading cards which you just look at, all in all it falls short of a good game but it's just an ok experience.
