  1. There's refreshingly little emphasis on lever pulling or jumping puzzles -- someone out there is listening.

A fun beat-'em-up with controls that are a little too complex for the game's own good. It's neither a great fighting game, nor a super shooting game. Despite the pain and agony I went through in Oni, I was compelled to keep playing. Chalk it up to good action, I guess. Or self torture...
  3. The combat in the game can be a blast at times, but the awkward control and super precision of the enemies often makes it more difficult than it needs to be.

This game is awesome!! I am a huge Tomb Raider fan, and I picked up this game between TRs. The fighting is exhilarating. I almost never used the guns unless absolutely necessary. Also, replay is enhanced due to cheat codes which allow you to switch characters. The story stays the same, but you get a whole panoply of new moves with each character you play. The control scheme was hard to get used to at first, but becomes extremely intuitive -- it just works. Expand

Yes there are a lot of throws and punches, kicks. But What you will soon find out is that the rocket launchers are about as powerful as a triple punch combo and the funnest weapons such as machine gun can barely be used do to a stupid kick back simmulator. You find that instead of being in a TCTF building it will more resemble a Wrestling ring as every one uses suplex's and body slams and the moves are mostly un-original! The weapons are poorly done and your character is ugly. The only reason this game gets any higher that a 1 is that you can be the bad guys with a cheat and their kind of fun to be. Expand
