In order to combat a Psi terrorist movement set to overthrow world order, you, as an elite American Psi-operative soldier, must fight using Telekinesis, Mind Control, Pyrokinesis, Mind Drain, Aura View and Remote Viewing to win a very serious "mind game" against an army of brainwashed terrorist super soldiers and powerful Psi agents. 1. Once you start you won’t be able to put down the controller until you’ve beaten it.
  2. Unlike any title you've seen before, and will likely leave you breathless and craving more when the credits roll. [July 2004, p.110]
  3. Psi-Ops can be a gruesome toy at times (and one that earned its M-rating), but it is delightful, and much more open-ended than its linear plot might suggest. With your many powers, and an environment full of objects that can be manipulated with Scryer's mind, there is so much to do in Psi-Ops that it's hard to put down.
  4. For the most part, the game is your average military-themed third-person action adventure, complete with locked doors, navigation puzzles, and pattern-based boss battles against a variety of colorful foes. But Psi-Ops sets itself apart incredibly well with its series of well-implemented psychic abilities.

Even with a scant few missteps, Psi-Ops is quite a ride. From the slick controls, to the surprisingly intelligent enemies, you’ll be compelled to play through to the end.
  6. Our favourite move isn't actually documented in the game's manual but if you do a little net search you'll find a way to force your foes to turn their rifles on themselves.
  7. You'll need a high level of tolerance for boneheaded design choices, but there's plenty of fun to be had. Psi-Ops has all the right ideas, but it trips itself up in the execution.

I can't say enough good things about this game. It has an almost cheezy RE1 feel to the characters and acting, but the story is still basic and easy to follow. The action is fun combining psychic powers and gunplay. This is a game that makes me sad everyone is abandoning backwards compatibility. Expand

    Realistic physics + Jedi-like powers + exploding heads = a total blast.

The graphics are ok but nothing special, the plot and acting are much the same but who care's as it's FUN to play! I've had more fun playing this for 5 minutes than playing though a whole Splinter Cell game (and don't get me started on driv3r! Grrr...). Expand

Its everything you want in a game its fun, exciting, funnyish cut-scenes and simply 'mind' blowing! Get it? Anyway the physics are brillant, controls easy to master and the gimmick of throwing bodies against enemies or burning guards to a crisp is such a rush. Ok its not perfect its very short, around ten hours but i plead with you fellow gamers BUY THIS CLASSIC! Even the soundtrack rocks, fantastic! Way better than the boring god of 'bore'! Expand
