  • Summary: A faced-paced shooter that hasn't changed much from its PC days for those who don't mind more than a little blood with their atmosphere.

  1. All of this as well as crisp, colourful graphics and clean, clear entertaining sound make it the definite BEST first person shooter to come out on PS2 so far.
  2. Bullfrog took on the near-impossible task of transforming a dedicated online game into a satisfying experience for the not-yet-online Playstation2, and completed it brilliantly.
  3. 80
Everything you could hope for in a Quake game is present and correct, with two glaring exceptions - mouse/keyboard control, and on-line play.
  4. A visceral and exceptionally well-done PS2 FPS that gets by as long as you haven't played it online.

I give this a 2 because of it being Quake. ID perfectly fragged this PS2 port. Horrible performance make me think if they were drunk at the time of announcing a console port. Upgrade your PC and get Quake III Arena for it. It'll thank you. Expand
