Players hungry for a more in-depth gameplay experience have the opportunity to replay missions by utilizing the time machine feature, thus providing an opportunity to sneak around an environment again using alternative moves and disguises in order to achieve even higher Master Thief ratings. In the new multiplayer mode, players play head-to-head and experience cooperative missions or replay mini-games together. The story line for Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves begins with Sly and his crew in disarray and struggling some setbacks. Bentley was crippled in the final battle with Clockwerk at the end of "Sly 2: Band of Thieves" and confined to a wheelchair, and Murray, feeling responsible for Bentley's tragic accident, has quit the team and chosen a path of non-violence and solace. Meanwhile, Sly learns of a secret family fortress that houses the amassed Cooper family fortune. Upon arriving at this hidden location, Sly discovers another enemy group attempting to steal the Cooper fortune. Sly and Bentley quickly realize they will need considerable help to defeat this new rival. Their recruiting starts with Murray, and once back on-board, Sly, Murray and Bentley set out to enlist some new and familiar faces in an effort to pull off a World Class heist. [SCEA] Collapse

An amazing accomplishment, especially considering the fact that Sly 2 was just released last year.
  2. Make no mistake, you should play it just for Sucker Punch's wonderful story and those fleeting moments of excellence as Sly, Murray, and Bentley, but don't expect the near-flawless execution of "Band of Thieves."
  3. A great game, especially for kids, and the gameplay is simple but deep enough for anyone to enjoy.
  4. Bigger, longer, and Slyer than the previous two in the franchise. Although Sly 3 still suffers from a relative ease that has always plagued the series, the gameplay is varied and clever enough to keep a player of any skill level's attention.

It's still a fun ride and many of the new additions work out well, especially the pirate sections, but there are enough rocky spots to make the game feel kind of awkward and hold it back from being truly great.

An ambitious sequel (and possibly conclusion) that refuses to allow you to get bored - so much so that it ends up being more of a bad thing than a good thing.

Sly 3 is a solid and inoffensive kids'adventure which perfectly satisfies the needs of its target audience and credits it delivers with a much more discerning nature than other games of its sort. [Dec 2005, p.98]

I love everything about the game. I really did like playing as the Guru and was very disappointed when he left.

The only thing better then the second was getting to play as the panda King and others but only like two missions and you can't even free roam as them which is angering because some of them would be fun to play as. The plot of the story is trying to get to the Cooper Vault for Sly's inheritance. The grahics did not get a major upgrade but you can play in 3D which isn't all that great. This is still on its own merits a good game. Expand

Great game overall.! Excelent graphics (albeit some slow-downs during gameplay), steady controls and great audio. However, I honestly prefer Great game overall.! Excelent graphics (albeit some slow-downs during gameplay), steady controls and great audio. However, I honestly prefer Sly 2: Band of Thieves. This third entry is waaaaay to easy and I find it to be less excinting than the previous version (in terms of the plot, for example). The new playable characters are a blast, specially the Guru, but you only get to play him for like 5 missions. If you are a fan os the series, buy it. Otherwise, a rent will be just fine! Expand

I feel like the first, second, and fourth have so much more to offer. The game feels rushed, and the storyline isn't as great as the second. The new gang members are fun but very underdeveloped. Good game otherwise though. Expand

There are at least double the characters to play as, more details to graphics but still has that whimsical feeling to it just like the first two games. The ending had me going there for a little bit until after the ending credits, it just made me smile. I didn't use the 3D feature much, I thought the game was fun enough with out them, but the 3D effects are cool. The disguises for Sly were amusing to use. Sailing is always fun to level up in, and you get TONS OF LOOT. Just the mass diversity from level to level was so much fun and playing the other characters along with that. Would recommend this game to Sly Cooper fans. Happy playing! Expand
