  • Summary: Protect America and freedom from enemy forces in urban and rural warfare in SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault, which features all-new 4-player cooperative play, improved enemy behavior and tactics, and new vehicles and weapons for campaign mode. Command the most feared Special Forces team ever assembled through a single, massive Area of Operation with varied missions spanning across multiple diverse regions. Players can experience the campaign mode in single player or in 4-player online cooperative mode. Additionally, players have the option to select an individual tactical mission area that was previously completed, and play it as a stand-alone, or 'Instant Action', mission in 4-player online cooperative play. Players can then customize these Instant Action missions for nearly endless replay. SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault also contains the full "SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs" multiplayer online game with all maps, patches and updates included and it is completely compatible with SOCOM 3 Online multiplayer. In addition it features new competitive 32-player maps, exclusive to SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault. Improved Crosstalk functionality between SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 and SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault allows each game to have even more dramatic effects on the progression of the other, in addition to unlocking special features across the titles. 1. Combined Assault isn’t a major leap forward for the series but this is still one of the most addictively fun military shooters available on the PS2.
  2. This is a good looking, good sounding, good playing game that really pushes the limits of the PS2. There's never been a better time to be a Seal.
  3. The single-player is decent, but relies on its co-op functionality to pull you out of its twitchy gameplay troubles. If you can get around that, Combined Assault is worth sticking your head out in the firing line for.
  4. If you already own "SOCOM 3," and you’re really only playing it for the multiplayer stuff, then you can avoid this one and save yourself a few bucks.

This game is the best socom so far. It is the next generation of a navy seals game and will live longer than any other socom game there is.

Wow! It has a great combination of stealth and head-to-head battles. It is really realistic because it has enemies surrendering and men not noticing you in the shadows. Probably the best third-person shooter ever! Expand

I believe this is going to be the best socom game. There are so many more options on the demo as well as the game itself such as you can have a medic pack and heal yourself when your hurt, you can also have a regular weapon pistol and a grenade launcher (m79) and at-4 or rpg. I cant wait til November 8th. Expand

Worth it if you are a SOCOM fan. Hard to earn enough badges to get advanced equipment. Still love it. George Bush likes to kill people from his living room chair. Expand
