  1. Elite Force had the potential to be not only a really stellar first-person shooter but also a Star Trek title that would surpass all others. Yet its sometimes-sloppy graphics, constant interruptions and substandard enemy AI dull things considerably.
  2. Technically, everything about this game is average. The graphics are passable, the sound and speech are good (but hardly mind-blowing) and the gameplay is familiar.
  3. Several generations behind the quality we’re seeing in other PS2 first-person shooters. [Feb 2002, p.85]

Well, this is one of those games. Elite Force is one of the most fun games I've played in a long time. And as for you guys obsessed with graphics, grow up. Graphics most definantly do NOT make or break a game. Look at Mario. One of the best games ever, and you're a guy made up of about a dozen little squares. True Trek fans won't give a crap if the graphics aren't quite up to par. You're not a guy made of a few little squares, and the graphics aren't that bad. Great story and awesome multiplayer. Expand

Let's start with the not-so-good: as far as graphics are concerned, I've seen better. But, then again, I've seen worse. The very-good list is longer: nice level design, high-tech action, all the weapons and a great storyline. Even if you don't really like Star Trek, you've gotta beam up! Expand

If you're a Star Trek fan, don't waste your time thinking this game is worth getting. It isn't.
