Not too bad for surfers if the real world is flat and you need a fix. Easy start but hard to finish. Not a lot of depth though as it's basically launch, ride, finish etc., no exploring, no interactivity + each beach only has one wave which breaks identically.

Barrels. That what it really is all about. You can sit and get barreled for days. No other game comes even close to matching the realism and tube time you can get in Sunny G.

It is a fun game, if you surf you can get into it. I would not recommend it if you have no idea about surfing.

  1. At its core, Sunny Garcia Surfing has the making of a good surfing simulation, but the final product is so barebones that it seems more like a technology demo than a game.
  2. Sunny Garcia Surfing’s lack of gameplay and graphics make it a weak contender at best.

It's plain looking, and it seems very basic in every way. So, there is nothing terribly next-generation about it.
