Immerse yourself in a world created, customized, and controlled by you. Develop a master plan for your Sim's social life, career, and pathway to greatness...or live in chaos! Genuine console controls let you directly control every move your Sims make. Create thousands of your own food recipes and clothing designs from items you acquire throughout your Sims' world. 1. Every bit as addictive and charming as "The Sims" ever were. Degg-degg! [Dec 2005, p.91]
  2. The best console rendition of the series yet.
  3. You’ll notice such things removed from the game as the ability to create a child Sim, while new things like a partially locked catalogue and cooperative play were added.
  4. The type of player who will enjoy this game is the one who plays to unlock things. This is your type of game, because there are hundreds of items to unlock and use, which you will have to work for.

  3. The Sims 2 for the PS2 is a good port. You control "sims" you create and simulate their lives. Although the other games were masterpieces, this game is missing some things that made the PC games extremely fun. 1 story houses, preset story goals, and 4 lots make this game fall short in features and free will. Fortunately, awesome gameplay, colorful sims, and an advanced chat system made me enjoy this game anyhow. Pretty good for a port! Expand

The game was cool and a rip off at the same time i mean com on! no kids, no stairs, the only reason i got this game is to find out what adult life is like but it is basically the same as sims 2 pets (which i hated) just without the pets I hope EA tries harder on the next sims game. Expand
