  • Summary: Off the Rails lives up to its name with 20 death-defying rides so outrageous, they inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: "WHOA!" Players build these incredible "WHOA Coasters" to leap from one track to another, launch through the air like cannonballs, blast through a burning rings of fire and more. A new lighthearted story ties together more than 100 missions, complete with 34 playable multiplayer theme-park games and social interaction with park guests that's better than ever. The in-depth conversations both advance the plot and suggest better ways to manage the park. But is every guest to be trusted? [LucasArts] Expand

For short, sharp bursts of Multitap action, there's no better game than Off the Rails, and it's a decent crack in single-player, too. [Issue#161, p.94]
  2. For what its worth, Thrillville does a fine job of offering more amusement park managing fun while also adhering to the kid in everyone. It's still a little too kiddy for its own good, but if you are a fan of the series you will no doubt have a great time.
  3. However, quantity comes at the cost of quality--because none of the games are the main focus of the game, they all feel shallow and repetitive. [Holiday 2007, p.82]
