  1. Perhaps the most pleasing aspect of this new game is that instead of some series being good and others (such as rallying) being very poor, the general quality level of each type of racing is very high.
  2. To be quite frank, TOCA Race Driver 3 is a great game - one of the best on the Playstation 2 - and certainly does compare to Gran Turismo 4 in specific areas.
  3. ToCA 3 is not unplayable, but it definitely needs some tweaking. [Mar 2006, p.102]

Racing perfection, cars, graphics, tracks and damage, all brilliant! A serious contender to Gran Turismo's crown!

A game with a lot of potential ruined by inferior AI, and terrible collision physics. Other cars on the track will continue to accelerate even when they are already in contact with you, and seem immune to impacts that take you out of the race. Expand

It's a shame when the bottom line is more important than a great loyal user experience. After persons, such as myself, were forced to PAY EXTRA to unlock any cheats or bonus material, I have vowed to never support CodeMasters, again. I wish they would've woken up and smelled the coffee... I really do. Expand
