  • Summary: The year is 2007 and the world stands on the brink of a terrifying global conflict. As the United States is caught in an embargo-induced oil crisis, terrorist attacks against American interests - and citizens - escalate. Venezuela, which still supplies the United States with oil, also becomes a target. As unrest grows in America, protests rock the streets of Caracas. And while the shadow of terror looms, madmen plot even greater acts of murder and destruction. No place is safe, no border secure in this hour of fear. Only one bulwark stands between the world and the threats that now face it: RAINBOW, an international task force dedicated to combating terrorism in all its forms. A top-secret organization consisting of the best field operatives the United Nations has to offer, RAINBOW is the most potent weapon in the world's arsenal. Backed by the most sophisticated technology available and trained to the limits of human capability, they are our best hope in the war against terror. [Ubisoft] Expand

  1. The developers have done a fantastic job porting the game except for a few graphics problems although the online play was surprisingly tolerable even with the servers in Europe.
  2. 72
With the lack luster graphics, textures, lighting, and shadows being stripped from the port, the game suffers and doesn’t allow the full gaming experience of a Clancy title that we know in titles like "Ghost Recon Jungle Storm."
  3. If you’ve played the Xbox version and were waiting with bated breath for the port, you’re going to be very, very disappointed.
  4. If you don't own an Xbox, this is probably worth your while. If you do own one, get the Xbox version. [May 2004, p.30]

Good gameplay and online is fun!

It's entertaining but, after a while you memorize where all the guys are what to do etc. Basically it gets kind of slow. It would have been a lot better with a multiplayer mode without requiring a online hookup thing. Expand
  4. Tactical solid, only with failure and frustration. While some stuff works fine and well made. The campaign gets challenging but not so fun. The bland graphics seem to get more old. Such a nice solid, strong positive ideas are here, only that show themselves very slow. Expand
