  1. I have played all three PS2 baseball games and TP is by far the most entertaining in terms of scoring a lot of runs, racking up a lot of strikeouts, and looking at eye candy. To hold TP to a simulation-standard would be putting it in the wrong genre.

Arcade baseball fans will love this game. [Apr 2002]
  3. Other games offer[] more modes of play, better graphics, and more in-depth gameplay.

  5. Pitching is easy and fun, while batting is almost too difficult.

The flawed cursor interface gives you little reason to do anything but swing at every ball—in fact, if you take a pitch, the announcers instantly chide you!

A wasteland of should have been, could have been, and never was. With a myriad of problems in just about every category.
  8. Unfortunately all the fun was vacuum sucked out for a more serious tone.
