All three PC adventures of Adam Venture now arrive on PS3 in an interesting, challenging and often funny package. There's some technical hick-ups (especially visually) and the controls aren't as smooth as they should be, but that shouldn't stop puzzle fans from considering a purchase.

Kids, casual gamers, and those interested in religion will enjoy Adam's Venture: Chronicles. The rest of us, programmed for debauchery and destruction, should probably stick to the games in our wheelhouse.

Not a bad game, it is just a frustratingly average game. It knows what it wants to do and sticks to its strengths, it is just that those strengths are lacking for depth and may prove boring for gamers looking for a bit more action in their adventures. Still, if you set your expectations accordingly, there is some fun to be had here while it lasts.

There’s a kind of dumb charm to Adam’s Venture Chronicles that makes it stand out – but this is still a decidedly average affair. For the right people – a religious family looking for something beneficial for their children – this is probably a solid purchase. The average gamer will probably expect a deeper experience, though – or at least a package where the jokes aren’t as old as the Bible itself.

Point and click games most of time aren’t welcome on consoles and Adam’s Chronicles follows this rule. Boring and not so optimized, it’s a missed opportunity.

If it weren't for the uninspired puzzles and the low production values, Adam's Venture: Chronicles would have gained a much higher place in our hearts.

You've got a bunch of horrible characters "running" (for lack of a better description) around in eyeball-meltingly ugly environments, solving puzzles that veer from insanely easy to impossibly difficult, to advance a story that makes no sense whatsoever.
