  • Summary: Call of Duty 3 delivers the intensity of being closer than ever to the fury of combat during the battle for the Liberation of Paris, the most harrowing campaign of WWII, known as The Normandy Breakout. Through a seamless narrative, Call of Duty 3 delivers the rush of unrelenting battle and breathtaking action of the Allied offensive that changed the fate of the world. [Activision] Expand

  1. The PS3 version of the game is just as impressive as the Xbox 360 version and while it doesn’t have split-screen multiplayer, it makes up for this with the Sixaxis functionality.
  2. COD3 packs more impressive features than any previous installment: gorgeous graphics and audio, an intense single-player campaign and a wealth of multiplayer options. Even if it isn't the most original WWII game, it's certainly one of the finest.
  3. The craft behind Call of Duty 3 is impressive. Treyarch deftly handles the stellar design duties passed on from previous developer Infinity Ward. [Jan. 2007, p.74]
  4. Delivers a solid FPS game and in no way should be overlooked, but as a launch title it just lacks that all-important wow factor. [Mar 2007, p.58]

This has to be one of the best games i have ever played in my life. i think combined with the graphics the ps3 can withstand it is the BEST.
  2. I've always enjoyed the historical Call of Duty games and this was just another fun game. Nothing really special here but if you want to kill some time without getting sucked into a story, it's a wise choice. Expand
  3. The best COD ever. Although it may seem repetitive this genre is not boring. The PS3 version is more dynamic according to the control, unlike the PS2 has higher quality graphics, but the trouble is the online mode because the servers are somewhat decayed Expand

Pretty generic and linear, the ww2-genre is becoming repetitive and ... boring.
