Delivering a stunning performance, Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey stars as Jonathan Irons -- one of the most powerful men in the world -- shaping this chilling vision of the future of war. The game takes place in a plausible future in which technological progress and today's military practices have converged with powerful consequences. In this carefully researched and crafted vision of the future, Private Military Corporations (PMCs) have become the dominant armed forces for countless nations outsourcing their military needs, redrawing borders and rewriting the rules of war. And Jonathan Irons, the founder and president of the world's largest PMC, Atlas Corporation, is at the center of it all.

Suit up for combat in exoskeletons that evolve every aspect of a soldier's battle readiness, enabling combatants to deploy with an advanced lethality and eliminating the need for specialization. Players experience enhanced player movement and verticality through boost jumps and grappling, covert cloaking abilities, and biomechanics that provide unparalleled strength, awareness, endurance, and speed. With the advent of the exoskeleton and newly advanced armor and weaponry, every soldier commands tactical freedom in any terrain unlike ever before, fundamentally changing the way gamers play Call of Duty across all modes

The Graphics is generally good but quality is uneven due to that the PS3 is now an aging console, but it holds up well compared to previous titles. The story is full of twists and turns, and as varied as it is short. The single player Campaign thus gets an 8/10 from me. For me, Modern Warfare 3 was the peak in the series, but Advanced Warfare is a good reboot for an aging series. Expand

TheCall of Duty is showing its age, and the attempt to bring new life to it with the main gambit of this game, the "Exo Suit", has failed. The added dimension of verticality doesn't bring anything new to the formula, perhaps mainly for the bland map design that doesn't take advantage of it.

The strong point of this game is, surprisingly, the campaign. If you're used to the formula, you won't find anything groundbreaking, but it's still a lot of fun to play. Believe the hype with Kevin Spacey. He was good. Too bad the plot is so predictable, as his character had so much potential. Another very fun -yet already tired- play mode, is the horde co-op survival. Between the campaign and this mode, you'll have good value for your money.

Where this game fails spectacularly is in its raison d'etre, the online multiplayer. Every problem in Call of Duty before, seems to be enhanced in this game. The **** of players spawning all over the place reduce tactics to shoot first and have a better Internet connection. The maps do nothing but aid this mess, and winning doesn't matter as much as having a good K/D. The killstreaks are no longer fun. The lack of dedicated servers give an unfair advantage to the people with best connection. Skill in this game means nothing. Multiplayer is an unplayable mess.

Clearly, Call of Duty is on its last gasps, and unfortunately, the new additions to this game have failed to pump a fresh approach into it.

On the ps3 console i have found this came pretty unplayable.
The most important part of the Call of duty franchise these days is the multi player. While advanced warefare is better than Call of Duty:Ghosts, it suffers from one major flaw. That flaw being, only having two guns that are worth using. Most of the guns seem so unmatched compared to the BAL or the ACR, that there is really no point using them.
The new Exo abilities are rarely used if your not playing competitive as the amount of boost jumping that happens in pubs makes the game lack any kind of strategy.

There also seems to be a constant lag the the game, personally ive never played a call of duty as connection based this this one. The lag is mostly noticed in the menu screens and while opening loot crates which becomes annoying super quick.

While i do like the looting system, nothing you get differentiates your player from the others so loots become left unoponed.

While i do enjoy a lot of the maps, i just find this game gets boring and more frustrating really quick.
