  1. Dark Sector is by no means a fresh, original game. It copies from a lot of source material, from games to movies to, well… everything.
  2. Dark Sector can best be described as a game born out of a formula. To create this game, you will need 2 parts Gears of War, 1 part Resident Evil, and a dash of X-Men. It is totally easy to rip this game to shreds based on this description. But as you play this game, something unexpected happens: you find yourself having an amazing amount of fun.

The game isn't fun at all (including the pathetically limited multiplayer options which aren't worth going into)...It's just frustrating that Dark Sector, with all the trappings of a good game, could squander nearly every single one of them with bad level design, poor logic, repetitive combat, and no attention to what made its inspiration so…inspiring.

I had good memories with this game... this was one of my best games on my PS3. It was also very cheap at that time. This game maybe has muddy graphics and was released many years ago... but it was fun... the story, the graphics and all that stuff... still very good and beautiful too. You won't think that the graphics looks bad, you won't feel that the game is boring, because it's still very beautiful and has a good story telling. Actually still one of the best games even though we are in 2012 right now. You never do the same things, you always get suprised in the story and way you develope your weapons... many good things. The game is almost for free these days. Buy it maaaaaan. It won't hurt... you have to try this game out before you die one day. Expand

Decent game that doesn’t bring much new to the table except the throwing metal weapon thingy. The cover mechanic is a bit gimped…certainly doesn’t work as well as Gears or Uncharted (a game whose cover mechanic worked remarkably well for me) The long and the short of it for me is price….this is a mediocre game at $60…not bad at $35-40.
