Deadliest Warrior: Legends may make you laugh for a little while, but its sloppy fighting is dead on arrival.

If there's one thing I can say about Deadliest Warrior: Legends, it's that you get a hell of a lot of value for your $10.

It was a big improvement on the first game and I got my ten bucks worth in one stupid, screaming, muderfest of a game; it wasn't even that stupid. Admittedly, the ranged attacks are just a gamble (either an instant kill or a tickle) and the multiplayer doesn't even have a lobby, but I also think the option to dodge rather than block is a very good one that should be in more fighting games. Also the stamina bar is a great way to deter both turtles and the stupidly aggro(i.e. pressing the same button over and over- you know who you are!) It has just enough strategy to shame Soul Caliber and Tekken any day. Oh yeah, and dismemberment. Certainly worth the price of admission. Full Review »
