As ever, the depth of the game is truly breathtaking.
  2. Dec 9, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 becomes a must-have for those who really love cars and driving. Yamauchi has created a piece of art, where every sound, model, engine or circuit are extremely realistic. Player, are you ready to be a driver?
  3. Jan 2, 2014
Overall, Gran Turismo 6 is the Pièce de résistance of this series that boasts great graphics, flawless gameplay and a perfect swansong for the PlayStation 3.
  4. Dec 13, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 is the best driving game of this last generation.
  5. Jan 31, 2014
With this iteration you have something which although better with a steering wheel is equally playable with a Dualshock 3, a crowning achievement for the team. Gran Turismo 6 is something that will keep folk entertained for hours of in-game play over years of real-time whilst we wait for something bigger and better.
  6. Dec 23, 2013
With Gran Turismo 6 Polyphony Digital delivers a complete, truly new and massive racing game that will keep you occupied for many months.
  7. Dec 12, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 is certainly the most complete game of cars available on the market.
  8. Dec 12, 2013
While it presents itself as a racing game, the title's real heart lies in its details. It's a game that makes good on the promise of its PS3 predecessor, and restores a soul and energy to the series that has been missing of late.
  9. Dec 12, 2013
The simplification of the GUI, the easier, faster and better career mode and the inclusion of a bigger deeper online component make GT6 one of the best in the series.
  10. Dec 11, 2013
There is something to be said for the thrill of thinking you could feasibly put hundreds of hours into this game and still have new cars to unlock. Replay value here is through the roof, but if you didn’t get that into playing it the first time, it might not be for you.
  11. Dec 11, 2013
It remains a mammoth achievement because fans can tell, within seconds, just how much TLC has been put into this production. Into every GT production, in truth. That’s what separates this franchise from any other and if you know cars and racing, you’ve been saying this for years. And I’ve got your back.
  12. Dec 10, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 finishes what Gran Turismo 4 started. It's not a revolutionary game, but one that improves everything and adds a lot of content.
  13. Dec 9, 2013
Polyphony Digital keeps polishing its series, with a game that becomes more accessible, but still very deep. There's room for improvement, but as far as PS3 goes, Gran Turismo 6 proves that your "old" console still has a lot to give.
  14. Dec 9, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 isn’t perfect, but it’s frighteningly comprehensive.
  15. 90
It's the best form a Gran Turismo can take and could be a fitting conclusion to 15 years of Real Driving Simulation. Now, the only thing that has to happen is for the "Driving" part of this equation to evolve into "Racing".
  16. Dec 6, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 isn't perfect, but it's still the best videogame out there for driving enthusiasts. It's what Gran Turismo 5 should have been.
  17. Dec 6, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 is a nice evolution over the previous chapter, Polyphony has learned how to deal with the interface and has upgraded the physics and the handling of the cars. It's a pity that the series still lacks in the AI and collision departments, but the content is king and GT 6 has plenty of it.
  18. Dec 6, 2013
As a foundation, it's certainly more stable than its predecessor - and as a way to explore the thrill of four wheels it is, despite its many faults, exceptional, brilliant and pretty much peerless.
  19. 90
While Gran Turismo 6 isn’t as groundbreaking as it’s predecessor on the PS3, it’s still a worthy addition to any GT fans library.
  20. Dec 6, 2013
While some small flaws and occasionally dated features edge it closer to deposition, Gran Turismo is still the king of racing.
  21. Dec 6, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 is a beautiful racing simulator that values the art and science of the race over the drama and theatrics that often make racing so appealing. While the game lacks in certain areas, namely in their complete lack of real collision dynamics, the overall racing experience is one of sublime enjoyment.
  22. Dec 6, 2013
A massive, passionate game and a fitting final lap for the PlayStation 3.
  23. Dec 6, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 rights almost all of the wrongs of its predecessor to deliver one of the most expansive, beautiful and enjoyable racing simulations ever seen. If only the AI and damage modelling were better, this would be the perfect racing game.
  24. Dec 6, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 is an over-ambitious, huge, sprawling, messy masterpiece. It has its highs and lows. It has its perfections and its flaws. Sometimes it’s annoying. Sometimes it’s infuriating. But most of the time it’s simply the best driving game you can buy.
  25. Dec 19, 2013
Gran Turismo 6 is the best way to salute the old generation and the fans, from Kazunori Yamauchi and the Polyphony Digital team. A summary of all that has been GT in last 10 years.
  26. Dec 17, 2013
There are a few things here and there that can become nagging at times, but for all intents and purposes, Gran Turismo 6 is a fantastic racing game that fans of both racing and the series should check out.
  27. Dec 11, 2013
Gran Turismo's biggest weakness is its inconsistency. Its best parts are so great that it's shocking to come across elements that are so far below standard. Still, many of its faults are purely cosmetic. Where the rubber meets the road, it's still fantastic.
  28. Jan 14, 2014
Bigger, better and slicker - GT is back, but it's brought some of its old foibles with it. [Feb 2014, p.67]
  29. Mar 4, 2014
In some ways GT6 feels like a robust expansion pack, but there are enough general improvements and additions that you'll find this release makes GT5 obsolete. A fine return to form at the tail end of the generation.
  30. Feb 13, 2014
Gran Turismo 6 continues the familiar path, not taking any risks but delivering solid, fun driving experience. Standard cars still really need a major update though. [Jan 2014]

Faster menus, new tyre and suspension physics, more and more content... Forza was a disappointment with the lack of content and abusive dlc (first day dlc and you must to pay for drive a veyron, really?). So if you own a ps3 and you like racing games, this is for you. A lot of improvements since gt5, great job giving us this game at the end of ps3. Full Review »

After playing for a few hours, the game feels like a vast improvement over Gran Turismo 5, and all of the good parts are carried over. The improvement on the suspension and tyre physics are notable, and the graphics are incredibly smooth given that it's on the PS3. Negative remarks include the career mode, which still feels like a drag, and the slow flow of credits. This is not a problem if you have bought the anniversary edition (which comes with 1m credits), but obtaining cars is significantly more difficult than it was in GT5. However, all of this will be forgotten once you rush through the Nürburgring's Flugplatz in a Le Mans Prototype at maximum speed. The sheer driving pleasure of the game trumps the downsides more than ever. Full Review »
