  1. An excellent turn-based combat game. It's deceptively simple and fast-paced. The harvesters and destructible ground are really good ideas. [Apr 2010]
  2. Greed Corp is a simple strategy game within the huge Xbox Live Arcade portfolio, but it has enough differentiating details to stand out above the rest.

Do not be fooled by the seemingly simple mechanics, this game is hardcore turn based strategy at its finest and even gaming veterans will have a hard time mastering it. Definitely a must buy if you like the genre, considering the low price tag.
  4. An innovative strategy game. [May 2010, p.109]

Stellar game. The strategy is not as hard to grasp in this game as some reviewers make it out to be. I played the tutorial once, first level twice and had it figured out. It's actually really simple when you get it. It's a great strategy game that makes you really have to time when you attack vs when you prepare for battle. Timing is everything in this game. Expand too fast and you get crushed. I love that the timer is at 1 minute. Too many people over think their moves and take FOREVER. This game makes you be decisive and quick...in a good way. Expand
  2. I'm not sure how this game scored so high, with some really big problems in gameplay. The biggest of which is the timer, which you CANNOT turn off as an option, in either single or multiplayer mode. Another important problem is that certain important moves can be really screwed up by their default setting, such as carriers defaulting to carrying 1 guy instead of your whole crew. This will inevitably happen towards the end of the game, causing you to lose the whole level and having to start from scratch. The last problem, is that the tutorial and intro to the game is simply hard to grasp. It took my several plays of the first stage after the tutorial, at which point I had forgotten it, to honestly grasp the strategies of the game. It's one thing to teach the mechanics, but the initial strategy in this game is so important that if it isn't taught you will lose guaranteed. This game had a lot of potential, it's sad to see being more irritating than fun. Hopefully they will do an update. (4/27/11) Expand
