  1. This game offers such an immense variety of levels and fun gameplay that you cannot simply ignore it, even as an adult. Kids will absolutely go bananas over the fun characters, the colorful environments and the fun storyline. The only let down is a touch of the soggy control syndrome, but hey - chances are you won't care if you're a 10 year old kid.
  2. A family-friendly, kid-targeted action/adventure that's packed with variety. Ice Age fans will love playing every stage.
  3. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is very sharp, lighthearted and fun game that will please younger fans of the movie with its varied gameplay, good looks and clever writing. A recommended purchase for fans of the movie.

The game clocks in at less than three hours with a skilled gamer at the helm, but kids interested in taking Sid and his friends on a fun journey will find plenty to love.

I personally enjoyed the variety of gameplay and chasing the Trophies for challenges, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but an Ice Age super-fan under the age of 10.
  6. Ice Age may be kid-friendly, funny, and faithful to the movie, but it's also repetitive and over too quickly.
  7. A family-friendly action/adventure for Ice Age fans.
  8. Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs offers a well balanced experience, with a design and art very near the strip of film that is associated with it.
  9. For adults there are much better options, but for kids looking for a fun time it's more than recommended.
  10. If you're over ten, though, you'll find things too easy to provide much challenge at all, so you'd better be a really big Ice Age fan if you're going to get your money's worth out of it.
  11. I would recommend Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs to just about anyone looking for a totally fun and moderately challenging gameplay experience with all of the flavor and style of the Ice Age movies.
  12. Overall, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is a fun game. Parents looking for a good clean game for the kids to enjoy should look no further.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is an entertaining game for kids. Lots of typical Ice Age humour is interwoven in this game. The only bad thing is the length and the fact that it's all a bit too simple, so therefore platform lovers should better leave this game on the shelves.
  14. As the ice melts, we see a decent game to play.
  15. There are plenty of fun movie-inspired platforming levels, and the unlockable multiplayer modes certainly add some replay value. If you or someone you know loves the Ice Age franchise, then this game will certainly please fans without giving them too much of a challenge.
  16. Aside from the $50 price tag, which we think may be too high, it's a straightforward and lighthearted game that the little ones should enjoy quite a bit.
  17. I was left wanting more, and wondering why solid gameplay sections were only used once.

While it might not turn hardcore heads, youngsters will get plenty of mileage out of Ice Age.
  19. This is a very fun and accessible title, but only for children.

It will be fodder for the haters who enjoy ripping things that don’t measure up to their high standards, but equally it will bring hours of fun to those that love the movie and eagerly rent the game.
  21. Another animated movie game that just passes as a decent game for the young gamers.
  22. 47
The replay value ain't up to much, either. [Issue#182, p.77]
  23. It's definitely enjoyable, just not as polished as a AAA title might be.

i bought this game specifically for my 11 year old daughter, and she loves it, and i was surprised how well polished this title actuallyi bought this game specifically for my 11 year old daughter, and she loves it, and i was surprised how well polished this title actually appears. not a bad kids title, since there is some variation in game-play as opposed to the typical generic movie platformer drivel we are all used to by now.
