All games you ever liked mixed together into one huge colored gaming orgy. Even so, it is not all chaos but a catchy and fascinating game which makes you thrilled to the end. [Issue#200]
  2. Full of simple-to-grasp tools, all with huge potential - and you could easily lose more time to LBP2 than any other game released in 2011. [Jan 2011, p.104]

The actual game included on the disc is an amateurish platformer at best, and a tremendous waste of potential under scrutiny. Instead, LittleBigPlanet lives and dies on what the community builds, and only therein lies the infinite value made possible by this robust toolset masquerading as a AAA "game."

  1. One of the best PS3 exclusives out there, and everything in Littlebigplanet just got better. If you love good games in general and isnt confined into a few genres then this is the game for you. Absolutly brilliant! Also has the best replay value of any console has to offer, with MILLIONS of levels, including everything from Littlebigplanet 1 and so on! Must buy! Expand

  2. A solid if derivative platformer with a beautiful aesthetic, and a great editor: not a huge leapo from its predecessor, it will be interesting to see if this one can keep a large community over a long period. And more importantly, will the tools allow people to create anything actually worth playing? A few people making half-baked versions of better games for consumption via Youtube is not a revolution. 3. I got this for my kids and they finished it in about 4 sittings. I would say there is about 6-7 hours of game time here, which is pretty pathetic considering how much games cost these days. I know the "create mode" or whatever it's called is great for adults, but not for little elementary school kids! In addition, how much of what is created by other users out there is really worth playing? 10%? 3%? Very disappointed by this game. Expand
