Offers some fantastic game mechanics, a decent story and enough variety to keep you coming back to see it through to the end. Fans of the genre and series should absolutely give this one a try, it may just become the staple title for future puzzle-battle games.

Not only does it stack up to its handheld counterpart, the online multiplayer and upgraded audio/visuals help exceed it.

Clash of Heroes reborn in an HD version that is now the standard for all the old Puzzle Quest lovers and one of the best digital delivery games for consoles in months.

The excellent puzzle-slash-roleplaying game makes the leap from DS to the big home consoles, and all it's charms and virtues are intact but recreated in gorgeous HD. Strong singleplayer adventure and a surprisingly good multiplayer experience.

With a depth and longevity that humbles most full-price releases – including five single-player campaigns and online multiplayer – Clash Of Heroes HD demands your immediate and undivided attention.

I loved it on DS, and this HD version is even better. A deep, clever puzzle game mixes well with a beautiful role-playing adventure. This is a game to get lost in, providing hours and hours of single- and multiplayer fun.

This new HD version has improved every single aspect of the game: it has a new graphic style, new online modes up to four players and it keeps the great original gameplay.

A refreshing take on the puzzle and strategy RPG mash-up. Challenging but not inaccessible, Clash of Heroes is much more than a novelty game and perhaps on the best games of its kind on the PSN and XBLA.

A game that was a surprise. The gameplay is very variable and you can play this game for more than 25 hours. Strong gameplay, good cut-scenes, and a great offline multiplayer. You can also play the game online, but there aren't a lot of people and the game also has a issue with the loadingscreens as they are way too long.

Ubisoft and Capybara Games deliver an almost spotless work with this HD downloadable version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. The franchise is well respected, and the gameplay both original and solid. With attractive visuals, a long lifespan, nice multiplayer features and an very affordable price, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is a very nice game to acquire for those who look for something to download that's different from the usual shooters and action games.

I love the rebalancing of specific abilities (in particular, the heroes' special spells are much more fair across the board now) and the multiplayer implementation, but I wish that some of my other problems with Clash of Heroes had been addressed in this port. Nonetheless, you can do much worse for your puzzle fix.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes has become a pretty decent game. There is so much to do that this might as well be a full retail game.

Except for the new graphical coat it was given, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is a very accurate port of the excellent DS-game. It could have been a tad faster though, keeping the console audience in mind. It's a shame though, that the few flaws of the game's formula have not been addressed.

With its inventive gameplay, its enhanced graphics and the new online multiplayer mode, this HD version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is greater than the original. Let's just ignore the bad storyline and the poor characters.

I had never played a Might & Magic title before, and this initial impression was not a good one. However, I soon realized how addicting, intriguing, and strategic the game was. I wasted no time buying it and earning all of the trophies. It is quite a unique game, and it's a steal for $15 (or less if you're a Plus member on PSN). Full Review »

This version is definitely superior to the DS version, if you are comparing the two. This version contains updated mechanics and rebalancing. I prefer the lo-res DS graphics to the HD version, but it's still really pretty. If you like puzzle games and you like strategy games (such as chess), then this is the perfect combination. Get it!
