If this is truly the last Ratchet and Clank release then rest assured that the series goes out with a bang. It’s one of the games of the year and an outstanding exclusive for the Playstation 3.
  2. I really couldn't ask for a better embodiment of everything I've come to enjoy from the series. The constant satisfaction from upgrading creative weaponry, item collection which feels rewarding rather than trivial, and the over-the-top action are all here, and better than they've ever been. With the addition of some interesting puzzles, even more flexibility with your weapons, and a great presentation, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time is not only the best game in the series, but one that will certainly stand the test of, well, time.
  3. A very pretty platform adventure with highly entertaining combat. Clank's simple time related problems are a nice diversion. [Dec 2009]
  4. The puzzles themselves can feel gimmicky and detached, as though inclusion was more important than integration. [Dec 2009, p.92]

Playing this game is like watching a saturday morning cartoon. It's such a blast to play and can be quite challenging at times. If you want a game with an excellent storyline, beautiful graphics & excellent gameplay A Crack in Time will have you covered on all fronts. Expand

As of writing this, I have finished the story but haven't collected all the Zoni (I think I have like 3 left to collect). The story is right on the boundary between good and awesome. It is fun to play, but it didn't blow me away like it did with Uncharted 3. Same with gameplay. There are a few parts that I really dislike in terms of mapping/locations or whatever you want to call it. The moons where you collect Zoni and mods sometimes get really annoying. But otherwise, fun game. Expand

It's an okay game if you have nothing else to play. The previous game FTOD was much better though. It had a better script making me laugh often whereas this one I laughed seldom. The new weapons are cool though and I enjoy how insomniac keeps the weapons fresh. I do miss some of the older aspects like more grind rails and the mini games like the hacking the circuit with the sixaxis. Not a terrible game but definitely a rental. Expand
  4. I found the games annoying and tedious to play. I just didn't find myself having a good time with this game and I must say this was more of a chore than an experience. I know many people had enjoyed this but for me I didn't like it. Expand
