RDR was a great game and I was worried when I first saw zombies as a future add on pack, however this isn't just a add-on pack which is intersting. You play john marston again and the story begings near the end of the main game (it can be a bit of a spioler as to what happens at the end of RDR) and your family are attacked by uncle sam and turn into zombies and it's up to you to find out what the hell's going on. This has a lot more humour compared to RDR and the things John Marston says to his zombified family as he leaves them is hilarious. The game plays out like a shorter RDR and it feels like all the characters are all squeezed in straight after eache other without much time spent with them which is dissapointing. Your required to keep moving as you survive the onslaught often backwards and can climb onto things to escape the hordes, however if you played RDR you should know the jumping can be clunky and inacurate which isn't actually a bad thing, it means every encounter is a tense one and it would have been to easy. You can't just stay on a roof though, different types of zombies mean you'll never bee safe, there is one that spits acid stuff which blow up when they die, a big bruiser that charges at you and a smaller one which crawls on all 4s and is noticably quicker then the rest. This isn't a direct clone to RDR, things like stage coachs, train and some guns aren't present but I'm assuming they would'nt of worked especially the stage coach. However this is more glitchy then the main game and things like zombies not appearing because your going to fast and zombies not looking like zombies but normal people which they're based on from the game can be frequent. The story wasn't as fullfilling as RDR and felt quite short (that could be because I had already explored the game world). The online proportion on the other hand is great fun, the zombie isn't just wave based mayhem. Theres a countdown and you must kill the required amount of undead before it reaches zero and at the begining of each round a coffin appears which you must open to restore ammo, however your exposed whilst doing this and can be attacked so it's vital you protect the person opening it. When the timer hits zero it go's in to sudden death until you run out of bullets most of the time hiding on a roof. You level up by playing it and it's great fun, I also like the guy how starts the game (like the guy from thriller) who says things like "Your death is certain but when and how are up to you" he also tells you when someones downed or died and tells you when a round ends. You should buy this if you enjoyed RDR or zombies it's not perfect but is still great fun and the online makes up for any shortfalls the single player part has. Expand

This is really bad! It's even more repetitive then Red dead redemption and the story is... well is there even a story? The zombies feel completely out of place and the gameplay is frustrating. Expand
