  1. Web of Shadows assembles a great cast of heroes and villains, combines them with a fantastic story, and integrates an intuitive and exciting control scheme and evolving combat system that easily makes this the best Spider-Man game ever made to date for any system.
  2. Web of Shadows is a major improvement from the last Spider-Man game which should give Spider-Man fans some renewed faith in their friendly neighborhood super-hero.
  3. Web of Shadows unfortunately, while sporting some inventive features, has nothing else to detach it from its earlier predecessors and the fast paced combat and the nimble webslinging are just not enough to carry the game.

This is the first Spiderman game I've ever really played and it hasn't disappointed me yet. It makes me feel like I am Spiderman, and isn't that the point of a "Spiderman game". Web-strike is awesome!! There are minor glitches with camera angle (which is to be expected, I mean come on, it's Spiderman) and the voice acting is a bit "off" but, all in all, I think it's a great game. Expand

  2. Pros: fun gameplay, city is huge, web-swinging is fun, good story. Cons: not exactly deep, repetitive combat, running is too sharp, city is boring, bad graphics, weak cutscenes. OVERALL: enjoyable in parts but once you finish the game you have to start a new file. and there should be more things to do in the city. Expand

The good is that thisgame has a Spider-man that is the most fluid in combat that I've ever seen. The bad is that it takes awhile to get there because you have to be taught by Luke Cage (I know, very stupid) to unlock your powers. Once you have ever thing down pat to make you an ultimate bad ass spider-man, you get to play a weak story and extremely repetitious breaking up of gangs and then symbiotic creatures from outer-space. Possibly the worst voice acting in a video game this decade. Expand
