Swarm links together superb gameplay design, a deep but accessible control suite, and an original premise with such well measured pace and verve that it would send its own brilliantly engineered score multiplier off the charts. It's yet another example of why the most innovative and refreshing games of our time sit on the digi-download platforms. Content is a slight issue for the asking price but, then again, you'll enjoy every second of what's on offer.

In Swarm you control 50 blue creatures and with them you have to reach the end. Sounds easy, but it can be really hard because you have to sacrifice some of the creatures to get enough point. Meanwhile you need to have some left to complete the levels. A hard, but fun, platform game.

Gnarly deaths and cute aliens make for a fun combo in this challenging action game.

Swarm's bizarre take on platforming is a great, addictive challenge, but this strange journey is over too quickly. Here's hoping for some DLC.

Swarm is not only an attractive looking title but it's one that has similarly appealing gameplay as well. It's becoming more and more commonplace for downloadable titles to take up consumer attention and Swarm is certainly a game that deserves yours.

An enjoyable game that's both enthralling and humorous.

When you combine engaging and unique gameplay with Swarm's pleasant (but dark) aesthetics and whimsical nature, what you have is a great downloadable game.

The swarmites are your people and you want to protect them. Maybe they're dumb, but spend some quality time with them though, and you'll find a lot to love, once you've come to cherish their eccentricities and predicament. Like any family they're a chore, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

The controls could do with some work, but Swarm's still addictive fun and worth checking out. [Issue#204, p.96]

Swarm is evolving in a violent way a concept dear to titles such as Lemmings or Pikmin. Solid and fun gameplay make Swarm one of the most entertaining games of the marketplace.

I highly suggest fans of games like Pikmin and Lemmings to download the demo and give it a whirl. There is enough addiction here to warrant the price tag. Much like Super Meat Boy and Trials HD, this is one game that can have you replaying levels over and over again just to better your score. And that is a sign of fantastic game design.
