  • Summary: The penultimate episode from The Wolf Among Us, a five episode series from developer Telltale Games where your every decision can have enormous consequences. As Bigby Wolf, the wolf in human form, you discover that the brutal, bloody murder of a Fable is just a taste of things to come.

A tightly defined roller coaster ride toward the finale, but along that ride, meaningful choices define Bigby Wolf and craft interactive storytelling at its finest.

The Wolf Among Us: Episode 4 - A Sheep’s Clothing may feel a little flat due to a lack of compelling content, but we’ll have to wait a couple of months to find out if the groundwork laid here pays off.

In Sheep's Clothing ties together loose ends and answers a lot of questions. This episode is more a movie than it is game, but entertained us nonetheless. However, there are so many things obvious now - story-wise - that you wonder what else is coming up in the series.

In large part, the ultimate success of The Wolf Among Us rests on how well Telltale handles Episode 5.
  5. This short ep is as close as we've come to filler. [Aug 2014, p.91]

After the last episode this one had a lot to live up to. There were a ton of big events and plot reveals, and it all ended on a shocking conclusion. Thankfully though this episode does still manage to impress. Granted the scale of events is not as big as the ones in episode 3, but even the littler moments here are still highly enjoyable. As always the choices you are going to make feel important, and will undoubtedly have big effects on the final episode. Managing relationships with these characters and influencing their opinions of Bigby kepy me invested, and the writing is just as fantastic as ever. The only real issue with it is it's abrupt ending. I get why they ended it the way they did, but Telltale could have made it feel smoother. Overall though it's a minor issue in what is another fantastic entry in the story. My total score for this episode is a 9.1/10=Amazing. Expand

I had read some reviews on this epiode as soon as it came out and it got some very negative feedback compared to the rest of the episodes. frankly, I really liked this episode. I see the negatives, and I agree that this episode was a little shorter, and had fewer emotional or intense dialogue choices, but this episode played with a good theme that I really enjoyed and made bigby's character feel more human than ever, friendship. this episode touched back on the characters that truly seem to understand bigby and like him for who he is, such as Collin, and I'm thinking even Merissa. I really liked that element to this episode. I also like that they really focused on brining all the pieces of the plot together which I think the game needed. If they had to focus on plot this time around instead of dialogue choices, that's totally fine with me and I enjoyed this episode for that. I do strongly agree that the episode could have been another half an hour longer or so Expand

much like the ep 3 of the walking dead this ep of the wolf among us was a real let down and it felt like a filler. i beat it in one sitting of an hour and a half there was one good scene not a lot happened and it was just boring after the roller coaster ride that was the first 3 episodes and two months of waiting i just feel let down by telltale a bit here hopefully they can finish of the season + Expand
