It's more than just the best entry in an outstanding series though - it epitomises the very reason many of us play video games. And that's its greatest achievement.

The visuals are breathtaking, the story is fascinating and the gameplay is never-ending. Uncharted 3 is like a fast-paced locomotive that cannot be stopped. The expectations were high, but Naughty Dog met them and even added an action-oriented frantic multiplayer. This third title clearly honours its parents, but as a child it does tricks with its pulsing vigour.

Words almost can't describe a game that nears perfection. And that is exactly what Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception does.
  4. Oct 25, 2011
Uncharted is still an incredible cinematic experience, but its own issues remain the same: limited interactivity, often too linear. Despite this, it's still one of the best adventure titles of the year, one you shouldn't miss. Multiplayer is just an add-on, but a very well crafted one.

It's an amazing game with an engrossing singleplayer campaign and a complex multiplayer mode that allows for months of fun. But don't expect a massive quality leap from Uncharted 2.

Naughty Dog once again delivers a unique cinematic experience that has no equal. With superb graphics, unbelievable set-pieces, superb story telling and great characters, Uncharted 3 is a genre-defining game. Next time though, we'd like to see better shooting mechanics.

Two years after Thieves, Uncharted's gameplay mechanics and conventions are no longer dated; they're borderline archaic.

GREATEST GAME EVER MADE. i want to write another review about this game and just say that you owe it to yourself to check this out, im deep into multiplayer now and it actually has gotten better when i didn't think it could. drakes adventure is nothing short of an absolute blast, you can get lost very easily into the humor, the charm and the story. sadly there are trolls on here, they come to try to tarnish this amazing game, if one of you is reading this, stop torturing yourself, buy this game! its amazing. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception I predict will go down in history as one of the most ambitious games ever made. The gameplay and set pieces flow here somewhat like action poetry. The characters here are so believable in their crazy motivations because of the brilliant voice acting and motion capture. The story, as ludicrous as it gets, is so entertaining because of director Amy Hennig and her smart script. The environments are so striking because of the brilliant designers and artists working at the Pixar of gaming: Naughty Dog. Expand

Amazing game. A great sequel to a superb franchise. This game is a theatrical experience that is worth paying $60 for. If you own a PS3 and haven't gotten this game yet, you owe it to yourself to go out and buy it. If you haven't played the other, get those too! Expand

I'm 32 and I've been gaming all my life. As many others have said, this really is the Greatest Game Ever Made. It's simply on another level. Honestly, words don't do this experience justice. The realism, graphics and detail are the best you'll ever see. Same with gameplay and story. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Any gamer simply MUST play this. Expand

The Uncharted serious comes full circle. This is hands down the most complete package Naughty Dog has offered so far. The story does suffer some of the same problems as the first two, and the conclusion is seen a mile away, however the ride Drake takes you on is well worth the price of admission.

The multiplayer has received numerous upgrades, and will keep you coming back for hours after the main story is done. The game is a must have for series fans, and great for those new to the Uncharted world. A word of caution, if you haven't played the first two, you will want to catch up before diving in head first.

Uncharted is a solid game, its beautiful, fun and exciting and adventure around every corner. Even during gameplay it feels cinematic. I would give it a 10 if it weren't for a fews issues I had; one being is we see the same enemy more than once. He is a much larger male who always engages you in hand to hand combat, he comes along in the game on more than one occasion, i think they should have left him in only one instance in the game. Another issue I had was the lack of response enemies had when taking bullets to the arm, leg chest ect. I mean you can send a hail of bullets their way and they wont even flich and their accuracy will still be dead center on you. Other than that i highly recommend this title Expand

This game is **** horrible the worst game of the uncharted series. The story is paper thin and becomes rubbish at the end. The characters I got to say **** Charlie Cutter he is a whiney pathetic oaf throughout this horrendous garbage also it is worse than Indiana Jones Temple of doom. Expand
