Surprisingly polished and genuinely challenging. [Issue#189, p.77]
  2. Vancouver 2010 is a decent sports game which lacks some of the Olympic disciplines.

The Olympic Games are starting again and a game can’t be missed. SEGA delivers the game again and just like the first time the game isn’t great. The game is basically 14 minigames and that’s all. The games you play in this game could also be released on the PlayStation Network for a few euro’s or dollars. If you are a great, great fan of the Olympic Games, maybe you like this game. If you don’t care about the Olympic Games, there are a lot better games out there.
  4. Occasionally, the gameplay is as good as the graphics. [Mar 2010, p.72]
  5. You like sports? Practice them in real life and keep your hands off this game – it is not worth the effort.
  6. Bottom-line: This is a game for completionists, leaderboard junkies, and glory hounds, though it should be noted that there are much simpler ways to proclaim one's video game superiority.
  7. There's very little to love in Vancouver 2010, Sega's half-assed attempt to make a must-own game out of the 2010 Winter Olympics. This dud features confusing controls, lackluster events and only a couple of hours of gameplay.

With the fist place getter often winning by more than 3-4 seconds over second place. Unheard of in any skiing competition when we are really looking at hundredths of a second!! The replays are best turned off - can you believe that? They only last a few seconds and don't even show you the whole race!! When 'competing' there is no excitement at all. I was bored with this game after about 2 hours and I am a big fan of skiing!! For a cool game try 'Ski Challenge' which is free to download as it's so much better than this rubbish!! 4/10 Expand
