  • Summary: [Dowloadable Game] In Warhawk, players experience the thrill of white-knuckle aerial combat with hundreds of enemy fighters, bone-crunching armored assaults and high-intensity infantry combat in a massive, all-out war fought both on the ground and in the skies. During gameplay, players are tasked with protecting their homeland from the invading Chernovan armada. By doing so, players take command of the most advanced war machine in the fleet, the Warhawk, capable of aerobatic dogfights at high speeds or hovering over ground troops providing tactical support. Players continue the battle on foot with an arsenal of weaponry including pistols, rifles, grenades and more.     At $40 for the PSN file, it may be the most expensive downloadable game you buy, but it's currently the best online multiplayer title to hit PS3.

    In the end the company has created an excellent game with good graphics, great controls that you can change, and one that runs smoothly even with 32 people playing at once. Warhawk is truly a benchmark for the PS3 and easily one of the best games in its lineup.

    I have had both the best and worst multiplayer battles in this game because the game is balanced very well, but I can't help but feel like putting a complete focus on multiplayer, and missing out on any tutorial system (besides the odd tip that pops up mid-game occasionally) will lose the game fans.

    I love this game...Easily the best online 3rd person shooter available for the PS3. I would even say that Warhawk even beats Call of Duty in some aspects. Great game!… Expand

    The game is pretty much planetside meets battlefield. The game isn't setting any new standards, and is pretty much a ripoff of other games. The controls are so and so. But as a "cheap" network game, you do get something for your money. For replayability I would go for something else.… Expand

    This game is not very good. It's boring and has no single player. The multiplayer controls are horrible and it's unbalanceed. Another crappy PS3 game. What a surprise!… Expand
