    Zen Studios has done it again! Not only is the Plants vs. Zombies table as addicting and fun as the original game, but its design and feature set make it an instant classic on the Zen Pinball platform.

    If you have tried Zen Pinball before and came away unimpressed, there is little here to warrant taking another look. If, however, you're a fan or just fancy giving a pinball videogame a try, then Zen Pinball 2 really is as good as it gets.

    Zen Pinball 2 is all you really need if you're after a decent variety of pinball tables to play around with; whether you're at home or on the move, your scores – and those of your friends, provided you have an Internet connection – are always there to be beaten. The tables are intelligently designed and not too costly, there are more than enough settings to fiddle with, and the chance to craft your own collection without being forced to pay for any unwanted tables is very welcome

    It's tough to grade Zen Pinball 2. It's nice that they've brought all the tables under one roof, and the price can't be beat. Yet they've offered nothing new and it would have been nice to see a more robust tournament system in there.

    Zen pinball 2. is to begin with a free update for existing owners of any of zens pinball tables. with vastly improved load times for the initial zen 2 engine to load up and each table now loads within seconds. all the existing tables can be imported into the zen 2 engine or menu select screen and they have all been updated with better graphics, ball physics and some seem to have had there score system tweeked to allow for higher scores and a more enjoyable game. there are new trophies for all tables to with new leaderboards and an all tables owned leaderboard plus the freinds team leaderboard isback. The new avengers pack that arrived with the update is a set of good tables and is worth adding to any serious zen player. overall good as zen have given back to the fans by making zen 2 backward compatible and also any new tables you buy will also be available for ps vita free or vice versa. good news all round. update now… Full Review »

    This is the best video pinball game ever made. Literally the only flaw I find in the game is that checking scores and trophies are not in the primary r-stick column as they were in Marvel Pinball and are relegated to buttons on the menu. Small potatoes, right?

    The physics are satisfying and skill-based. The game encourages the player with comically high point values and even RPG elements in tables like Ninja Gaiden and Epic Quest. The graphics are colorful and sharp, the sound is dense and realistic. Licensed tables like Plants vs Zombies make particularly fantastic use of sound.

    Fun title that you can play for 15 minutes or 2 hours. Listening to music or podcasts through the custom soundtrack option makes it all the more appealing. Take it on the go with Vita crossbuy. ZEN!    … Full Review »
