Probably one of the worst movie tie-ins that has come out in recent years.
Some games are so good that can set the bar and serve as a benchmark for other games, and some games are so bad that can do the same but in the other direction. Jumanji falls into the second category though, as it is so bad in everything that can be considered a benchmark for bad games. Maybe the only positive thing about Jumanji is that it is so short that whoever is playing it will not suffer for a long time.

After rolling a 7 the message "His fangs are sharp. He likes your taste. Your party better move poste haste" appeared and my neighbours cat burst through the window clawing me viciously, I can't get back to the console to take my next turn as Mittens has me cornered in the bathroom, if you a reading this please join my game and roll either a 5 or 8 to free me.

What's most frustrating about Jumanji: The Video Game is that the developers had the opportunity to take the fun premise of the movie and turn it into an equally entertaining game. Ultimately, though, they didn't give the Jumanji game the attention it deserved, and instead, turned out a title that isn't worth its $40 price tag.

Might just be the worst game of the generation in my eyes. Very boring and dull gameplay. Graphics are early PS2 level. The voice acting is mind-numbingly dreadful. The performance is abysmal. I've had multiple crashes, countless frame drops and multiple freezes. I could list 1,000 more reasons why this game is so bad. What really disgusts me the most is that they're charging $40 for this dysfunctional crap on the store. It's a low effort cash-grab and nothing more. Don't buy it, even when it eventually does go on sale.
