A tricky and challenging single-player game, joyously mad multiplayer action, and an incredibly in-depth creator mode combine to deliver what is without doubt, the best LittleBigPlanet game yet. Wonderful stuff.

As an accessible, powerful game-building tool, LBP 3 is remarkable, and offers more scope than we dared to expect. [Christmas 2014, p.108]

Presentation of the story isn’t the best the series has done, but instead lies in the hands of the community with their creations. Regardless, they’ve made the endless amount of fun and creativity even more endless.

With the best level design yet, this is more LittleBigPlanet, but the new characters help keep it fresh.

LBP3 reaches new highs for the series by delivering some of the best levels and gameplay yet seen, but also disappoints with a fleeting campaign.

Sackboy is as charming as ever, and his new friends aren't half bad either. The only problem is that you don't get to see a lot of them, and despite huge amounts of creativity, the story is simply too short.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is still a charming platformer and creative sandbox at heart, yet without the full attention of Media Molecule, it feels like it sorta lost its soul.

The game has exceeded my expectations so far and I thoroughly recommend playing with friends who might be on the fence using the SHAREplay function because its a blast with more than 3 people playing at once. Lots of chaotic fun I promise you will be laughing all the way through because it really is that enjoyable, so if you liked the previous two LBPs you'll enjoy this one and if your new to the franchise and want to try it for yourself before you buy ask your friend to share it with you. The level designs for story mode are easily some of the best, most creative and inspired of the series. They are constantly introducing some REALLY cool new platforming elements, tons of new powerups, enhancements to existing mechanics big, medium, and small in scope, and an overall smoother and prettier experience. I've gotten a few hours in and have only seen one minor bug, otherwise it has all been smoother than any LBP experience I've had. Yes, it stinks that you can't play the new characters quite as freely as many people initially hoped, but even without any new characters the core game would still be the best in the series in my eyes.

Also, basing your entire review/impression on a few remaining bugs seems silly in the long run, as they have already fixed the majority and will continue to clean up the rest in the near future. I agree that it is frustrating that they shipped a product that has any noteworthy issues, but give it a week or two and it will seem ridiculous that so many negative comments were based around issues that no longer exist. The core product is no question the best yet.

I think, that the voice actors did a great job. I just can keep listening to their voice, over and over. There´s some bugs here and there,I think, that the voice actors did a great job. I just can keep listening to their voice, over and over. There´s some bugs here and there, that may be annoying, but it´ll get updated later, so that doesn´t bother me that much.
In my opinion, i dont like these 'Deals' MM Do. They´re probably my favorite team, because they can keep everything under control with their games, and bugs are not the biggest problem in their games normally at launch, but this one, seemed to be a little more buggy than usual at launch.
This game feels a lot more charming than the others, then it comes to story, cause it has more characters, funny challenges, and many small bonus-levels, and many of the "Come Back!" Moments (when you haven´t unlocked the tool to achieve the bubbles you want). As people (for some reason is arguing about), is that the story isn´t what you should buy the game for. Of course it´s not, and it´s never been. But to be honest, i´d like the history, and the feel of the game.
LittleBigPlanet 2 May´ve got the biggest update/upgrade of LittleBigPlanet, but i think, that this one has given a lot more, of what people wanted. Such as 16 Layers, (Ass)-O-Meter doesn´t really bother you anymore, if you know how to avoid getting a full Thermometer in LBP3.
    SUM UP/Final Verdict:
The game needs to clean the windscreen for bugs, that they´re working on, and then just listen to the community, and make LittleBigPlanet 3 More immersive than it already is.
I´ll definitely recommend buying this game, because it´s not disappointing in any way, and may be the biggest LittleBigPlanet Game ever made. Just remember beginners, that LittleBigPlanet, will make you smile.

Point for the graphics, sounds, for the controls and characters, they are fun and really cute ;-)

Point for the graphics, sounds, for the controls and characters, they are fun and really cute ;-)

Graphics: I played LBP 1 and LBP 2 on PS3 (still do from time to time) and it is clear that the graphics were upgraded for PS4 (obviously), animations and game play run really smootly, it is just awesome

Sounds: I love the BGM/OST of this game, as with the previous games, it helps create a fun atmosphere, It gets quite adictive sometimes with me huming this or that part to myself while I play.

Controls: Easy and fun, there are chalenging parts of the game you got to figure it out but it does not take alway the fun.

Characters... LoL... it is really cool to use the new chars, I do think they could have been more used but maybe they will get more use going forward with the game( I am still on the beggining of the game )

There are some annoying bugs/glitches but hey, there is nothing major. Nothing like the $hit ubisoft did with AC...

You can tell that the absence of the original developer (MediaMolecule) hurt this series, either testing was not done, the game was rushed.
Do not believe the 10s as they would probably give Unity a 10 as well if it was a ps4 exclusive.
In fact I highly suggest you buy this game, if you like missing textures, slow framerates, clipping and collision issues, missing sound, non-spawning characters and much more!
Bought this game day 1 to see what all the fuss was about on the ps4, deciding to trade it in the next day.
For the real, non casual gamer who likes games that arent glitchfests, avoid at all costs.
