While fans of the series may miss Max and Chloe at first, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit sets a bar for Life is Strange season 2 that’s just as high as 2015’s time travelling adventure. Chris is a charming, observant little kid, and his alter ego Captain Spirit provides a gripping side adventure in this two-hour long prologue. Dontnod, I am ready – give me season 2.
Simple and almost trivial at first sight, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit lets the player be amazed by being so accurate. Life is Strange 2's introduction chapter gives us a glimpse of one little boy's boring Saturday morning being transformed into a space odyssey thanks to the power of imagination. Neither surprising nor challenging, the game will still easily deserves another playthrough for those whom want to witness every situation it has to offer. Too bad Captain Spirit lacks delicacy in so many ways.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit attempts to set the stage for Chris and his heroic adventures, but the execution is lacking. Its lack of focus, along with its robust “Awesome Things to Do” chore list, make its two hour runtime drag out far longer than it has any right to.
Life is Strange 2.
Так что, игру вполне можно пройти да бы понять часть сюжета в Life is Strange 2.
This game is free so it's really a matter of "is it worth playing", and if you were waiting for Life is Strange 2, I'd tell you yes. Those 3 or so months are kinda the only time that make Captain Spirit worth playing, but after that? Nah, there really isn't much here, The game is under 2 hours, doesn't have a lot of impact on Life is Strange 2, and in general isn't that **** certainly be more interesting if the Chris character actually had more impact on Life is Strange 2, but considering it's just different dialogue really doesn't do much for it's favor. The main problem being Chris's situation with his father, and the neglect he actually faces, it's not so much that Chris's story isn't interesting, it just never becomes conclusive. So you can have all these adventures with Captain Spirit, enjoy the new graphics and music from Dontnod, but in the end you're really not going to get an end, just a sneak peak at what's going on in Life is Strange 2. If that seems up your alley, than please enjoy, but for most it's just going to be a very impressive tech demo.
one for the songs and some choices of direction but really this game is super boring and full of stereotypes, redundant and without even the ability to give ideas for the future "life is strange 2"
