It may be a little out of left field, but if you have love for puzzles, platformers, or excellent blob-based fantasy realms, you’ll almost certainly enjoy it. The Wii needs more games like this one.
Charming, clever and gorgeous, A Boy and His Blob is a great puzzle platformer. If only the Blob's AI was a little smarter and the boss battles a little less aggravating. [Dec 2009]

The game art is so cute, and the levels so creative, it's a really great game. I haven't played the original but I can assure you that this does worth playing!

After careful analysis we can confirm the undisputed quality of the title product from Majesco. The combination of genres and the incredible ability to create artistic backgrounds recreate an atmosphere of familiarity that is now rare in recent titles.
Once you get used to the fact that the blob's practically brain-dead, this is a fun puzzler. [Dec 2009, p.74]
With its beautiful presentation, well designed levels and two adorable titular characters, A Boy And His Blob is a game that rewards and appeals in equal measure. Would all curmudgeons now kindly leave the room on tiptoe.
That frustration of knowing what’s needed but being unable to pull it off is much like the well-intentioned developer trying to reproduce this game’s source material, but falling short.
A great re-imagination of a classic title. It provides a good amount of challenge and great re-playability. It's not very fast paced and there are some instances where the game can become frustrating or instances where the A.I. blob can be a minor problem, but overall a fun game

Una grata sorpresa este juego, el diseño de niveles y personajes es precioso y nunca te aburres de jugarlo. Como punto malo me fallo un poco la jugabilidad en momentos puntuales del juego. Po lo demas un juego que se disfruta al máximo y que te da un buen tiempo de entretenimiento.

It was kind of fun for a while, but the more you play this game you realise how horrible the mechanics are.
Like the spacehopper you jump on; you can only jump when you are fully on the floor, and not if you are slightly off it from another bounce; this leads to you dying when you try to jump and feels completely scuffed and awkward.
Takes like 5 seconds to respawn when you die - really poor, unenjoyable experience. Highly recommend you don't download - or worse, pay money for this crap.
