Coupled with the bright, colourful art style and cheery soundtrack, I honestly struggle to see how anyone could play one of these games and not enjoy their time with it.
When compared with its original counterpart from PS3, Hyperdimensiondimension Neptunia Re:Birth 3: V Century doesn't have many new elements as we would like, just some added minor functions. However, it's thanks to the improvements that the developers tried to include in the previous remakes that make this entry in one of the best iterations of all the franchise. If you haven't played any game of the series, you could easily try this one.
As the final entry in the Re;birth series on Vita, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 3 is a must-play for those who completed the first two remake titles. The main characters of the first game return here alongside their CPU candidate sisters in a charming and funny story. Stella's Dungeon and the Remake system offer you ways to customize your characters and experience completed dungeons in new ways. Nepgear's exasperation at constantly mastering useless abilities is sure to put a smile on your face.
The game is an absolute rollercoaster of fun, humor and interesting Story. All though the story is not something you should allways take seriously it is set up in a way that its extremely enjoyable and you will get quite a few laughs from the game if your a fan of the series. It does have some minor issues such as level scaling but its easily overcome when you download the free DLC on Vita that give you all sorts of extra characters and some of which are quite overpowered, the graphics are okay for an Vita game and its New Game Plus is a lot of fun as well.
The challenges you can do are a bit **** as you have to jump a total of 10000 times to complete one challenge but they aren't neccessary.
Pros:
- The cast is hillarious and are far from flat characters
- The game play is perfect in my eyes and the combat very enjoyable
- The story is thrilling and there are some serious Heartbreaking moments but also very loving moments
Cons:
- The levelscaling isn't all that perfect
- Some Dungeons are re-used from older games but atleast given some makeup to look better or some small changes.
With a story that is packed with video-game references, humour and interesting characters, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation is a game that I would recommend to any fan of RPG's. Although it is by no means perfect, this game kept me hooked throughout and I think it is safe to say that I may frequent the world of Nep-Nep more often now that my eyes have been opened to this franchise!
Even though it doesn't offer the same amount of improvements than previous episodes, it still is the best way of enjoying this game if you haven't played it already.
The Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth series has always been a potential-filled experience that ultimately disappoints, but the 3rd installment in the series passes right over the endearing and interesting elements of the game’s cut and paste formula for the most boring.
Really a great game for any neptunia fans! Nice music, art, gameplay, plot and characters, the only negative thing i can think of is the world map how it works and the dungeons get quite repetitive but both of them are minor critics really, but for someone who never heard of the series they need to understand clearly what a japanese role playing games are because this ain't you fallout 4 or gta game.
It's a good game. All this hate is nonsensical. It's funny, clever, lewd, and has solid gameplay. The characters are all great. What kind of psychopath doesn't want to play a game starring Yukari? The story is quite good. It has good acting and genuinely hilarious jokes. If you hate this game, you hate cute girls, comedy, and happiness, end of story. I'm sorry, Nep is fantastic, you're just wrong.
O_OLokiO_O, you're wrong. This game is a travesty against storytelling. An overbloated, disgusting mess. It deserves any hate it gets because it is the worst aspects of Neptunia, sans Megatagmension. I don't hate yuri or happiness. I hate garbage series with egregiously bad humor, superfluous storytelling that makes me want to fall asleep. Plutia and Rei are the worst forms of storytelling and its mechanics are PURELY COSMETIC. I don't hate comedy, or anything of the sort. I just have enough self respect not to laugh at "He reaped and sowed his own seed" and "Neppy-chan, can we milk you?" because neither of them are funny. I liked the original Nep game. it was a GOOD combo of silly, cute, happy and yet also good, serious drama. Get outta there with that rookie bull!
