And, most importantly, there's this: The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character may not be the cheapest or most original game, but it's still fun and well-made.
Overall, this is another mini that is more than welcome on the Vita in a native form. Beneath the cute visuals is an excellent and tough piece of reaction based gaming and we can see many Vita owners drawn to it for far longer than they probably expect to be.
There’s an old school vibe that permeates through The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character. Its simplicity, difficulty and colorful, Japan-inspired visuals are a call back to a bygone era of games.
The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character isn’t a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. Its quirky name, visuals, and music are a joy to behold, but that was already the case with the original. The standard option can be incredibly frustrating, but the challenge mode does at least take some strides to redeem it. However, there are plenty of Vita games that are far more deserving of your attention.
