  • Summary: Even though it's not quite up to prevailing standards, Speedball 2100 still packs quite a bit of wallop.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 1 out of 5
  2. Negative: 1 out of 5
  1. While we still would prefer to play our heroes Brett Hull and Mike Modano in a hockey game, Speedball 2100 is a great alternative.
  2. 74
The game's own shallowness does this game in eventually, though. While fast, frenetic competition's great on a short term basis, you won't stick with it for long when viewed from a grand scale.
  3. Even though it's not quite up to prevailing standards, Speedball 2100 still packs quite a bit of wallop.
  4. An ugly, hollow mess that disgraces its storied predecessors in every way.
  5. Player models are just as lacking in detail and design -- chunky and clumsy looking, nothing intimidating about them. One wouldn't even expect this from a first generation PlayStation game.
