As good as "Tomb Raider 1" was, 2 is twice as good!
  2. Even at its most frustrating lower points, Tomb Raider 2 satisfies, and when at it's peak of effectiveness, the game is a soaring masterpiece. [Score = 98]
  3. Lara is still beautiful, the gameplay is still great, the action will still make your heart skip a beat. It's just not quite as good as the first one, and it's no longer a new and amazing type of game.
  4. Most of Tomb Raider II's improvements are cosmetic, and even those aren't really anything special.

I think, out of all the TR games, that this is the best one. Yeah, one was really good, but 2 lets you go to better places and. oh yeah, unlimited saving!! Expand

This game is very good. I still pop it in every once in a while and it still gives me chills. A true Playstation classic.

It's probably Lara's best Playstation adventure which doesn't say much for her other PSX games! It really hasn't aged well at all with glitchy, blocky graphics and hair tuggingly frustating controlls (how can simple actions such as flicking a switch or moving to the edge of a ledge be such a chore?). Not an awful game but the likes of Metal Gear and Soul Reaver leve it sobbing in a damp corner. Expand
