Prune is an awe-inspiring work of digital poetry that transcends its initial subject material to explore a much larger, much more complex theme, in an articulate and powerfully moving manner.
Beautiful game, simple and easy to understand concept. You have to understand the simple idea that a tree grows taller if you cut the unneeded branches. My only complain is that the game can be finished in a day without a big difficulty. So, with new levels and more difficulties would be a 10/10 game
What an amazing and beautiful game!!!! It's like Journey, or Flower ported to Ios. With the same message kept intact. The entire game basically consists of just pruning bonsai type trees and avoiding obstacles but it clearly has a much deeper message that it is trying to get across. Trees are awesome!
No two trees will grow exactly the same, and in this they become less like a program we’re operating and more like a pet we’re caring for. You try your best to help it thrive, to protect it from danger, to see it grow up strong. When it falters, you feel more guilt than frustration. When it succeeds, your pride is not as a player, but as a guardian.
The game looks gorgeous, the music is delightful, and the controls are intuitive for the platform. While it can be a challenge, it is still a great way to de-stress since you aren’t pressured with time or a limited number of trees.
Prune is a serene experience that provides an incredible feeling of peace to the player. Although the game doesn't have a long duration, every second of it is fully enjoyable.
I wanted to like this game. I truly did.
After watching the trailer it was an immediate buy.
The gameplay itself is... ok and is innovative that's why I will not give a completely negative score. It is something new and it is relaxing, but it's not fantastic and gets boring after a while.
The thing that put me off completely is the feeling of deja-vu i get when playing this game.
I can't even say the author was inspired by Monument Valley - he blatantly copied the whole style of it!
To a point where some sounds feel like they've been taken straight from the other game.
I absolutely love Monument Valley and I agree the style is fantastic, but at the same time I despise taking advantage of other people's work.
There is a difference between inspiration and cloning and here the line has been crossed by far. It really is a shame that no critic ever mentioned that :(
this game ****, the developers pay the newpaper call TIMES, this game crashes every second. and its boring ass hell dont dowload,
PS THE EVELOPER JOEL MCDONALD PAY THE NEWPAPER TIME TO BE IN THE BEST GAME
