  1. The additions to 2010 FIFA World Cup might not be as drastic as I would have hoped. But, the lack of improvements in the graphics department is not enough to detract from the fact that this is still a decent soccer game.
  2. Considering it’s for the PSP, 2010 FIFA World Cup, in the end, is a decent football game. It does have its flaws–visuals are poor, gameplay is identical to past iterations in the PSP FIFA series, and you may be better off waiting for FIFA 11. However, audio is spot on, and a broad range of modes adds plenty of replayability and value to the title.
  3. The PSP version of 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa comes with a series of flaws that undermine the gameplay both in offline (poor IA, awful corner kicks) and online (heavy lag issues) modes. There are plenty of game modes, however, and fans of the series should give it a try.

A decent effort, but once again it is belittled by the shadow of its console counterpart. [Issue#193, p.98]
  5. 60
There's a good amount of content under the hood, but I would have liked to see some seriously refined gameplay, new mechanics and a few features that helped to differentiate this latest FIFA iteration on PSP from its big brothers on consoles.
  6. On PSP, Fifa South Afrika is not really interesting. Without online features and the second control stick, the brand loses most of its winning characteristics.
  7. With FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa on PSP, EA Sports sells a very cheap ticket for South Africa (30€). That’s really the least it can do for this copycat of FIFA 10, itself copy/pasted on the previous one.
