Sweet and simple. It might be old-fashioned but it's as addictive as it's ever been. [June 2006, p.70]
This colorful conundrum is worth a look if you like your gaming in bite-size bits. It'll become monotonous eventually, but for a while it's more addictive than jam doughnuts. [June 2006, p.81]
It might not push the capabilities of the PSP, but it’ll still be ‘that’ game you constantly come back to.
The whole game just sticks far too rigidly to the over-worn gameplay of the originals. Without much of an effort to harness the PSP’s power or even stretch for a physics-based dynamic, it’s really surprising that this isn’t a straight-to-budget title.
If you've always hankered after a handheld version of one of the best puzzlers there's ever been, then this is a serviceable port that does the job, but just be aware that you'll probably want to skip over the new modes very quickly.
Although PBP sports no new additives or flavourings, it rehashes the old ingredients successfully enough, for the most part. [JPN Import]
