79Hero of Sparta is a fun little action game with all the trimmings of God of War in a cheaper package. Is it as good as Chains of Olympus? Well, no. But it does have eight solid stages of kills and thrills, plus it controls quite well on the PSPgo when compared to the still-fun iPhone edition (which, incidentally, is four bucks cheaper).

A poor man's God of War that makes no apology for its fast and furious fighting gameplay. The perfect, blood-soaked introduction to the PSP Minis platform.

40The titles that truly impress on bite-sized platforms are rarely those that try to ape "proper games", but the ones that turn hardware and storage restrictions into opportunities and innovations. Hero of Sparta isn't one of those games, and there are better Minis more deserving of your money.
