  1. A challenging racing game that helps fill a void in the niche-genre of dirt bike racing.
  2. MTX Mototrax offers a respectable challenge and fun, satisfying racing in one relatively cheap package.
  3. 72
It offers just about everything fans of the sport could want, including a good selection of tracks and a variety of game modes. It's a little rough around the edges, both in the visuals and gameplay department, but these hiccups hardly get in the way of the game.
  4. 60
Sure, it's not the hottest-looking racing game out there, and it's got gameplay that has been done before in other games, but it has a bevy of bonuses to uncover, and very suitable options that would be perfect for you, especially if you were born to kick up mud with tires onto your sponsored jeans.
  5. There's enough to like about MTX Mototrax's simple-minded fairgrounds and giddy airborne excitement to overlook its value-priced rough edges.
  6. True infrastructure could make [the] next iteration of Mototrax great. [Oct 2006, p.86]
  7. Mototrax starts out with a holeshot thanks to the solid gameplay, but it manages to take a spill before ever reaching the finish line. [Oct. 2006, p. 92]

VERY crowded interface. The racers' names are listed in the top left corner, but they're so obtrusive and often block the view of VERY crowded interface. The racers' names are listed in the top left corner, but they're so obtrusive and often block the view of the track. A higher camera angle would've been appreciated as well. Also features the most advertising I've ever encountered in a game. Expand
