  • Summary: Shadow of Destiny offers a fun and brain stretching experience that will keep players guessing the storyline until the very end through a number of Time Warp Puzzles. When solved, these puzzles give the players clues to reach the killer. Shadow of Destiny also features a number of multiple endings that can be unlocked through the players' course of choices throughout the game. [Konami] Expand

  1. After all these years, Shadow of Destiny is still a fine adventure.
  2. 71
It’s not a bad game, but it’s an old one that isn’t timeless or worth $30.
  3. The story and adventure itself is actually solid enough to merit checking out if you're an adventure game fan, but everyone else will want to steer clear.
  4. The moody graphics and compelling story remain impressive nearly a decade after its initial release, but Shadow of Destiny is showing its age. [May 2010, p.85]
  5. Unfortunately the game's premise, mechanics or characters don't help either as they aren't interesting enough to make you overcome any indifference you feel towards Eike's plight.
  6. For the template the game sets out to fulfill-a story of time travel and mystery solving, it really ends up being too linear and unappealing in many rights to hold anyone's attention aside from previous fans.

It's not a bad game has interesting storyline with lot's of time travelling, kept me busy when I used to play on playstation 2, but the graphics are bit dated now. Expand

This game is actually surprisingly good, it immerses you in its world even though it's really cheesy (that makes it better in my opinion) and at times it makes you think. I recommend it. Expand
